This outpatient department is located inside the hospital which gives us easy access to the many valuable resources that would not be available if it were offsite. This department is also unique in that it employs experienced RN’s who are proficient in evaluating appropriate vascular access to provide optimum patient care and safety. The RN’s are trained and proficient in placement of PICC lines. As with any unit, teamwork is essential in allowing us to provide the continuum of care in many areas. When walking on to our unit, you will always find staff with smiles on their face, welcoming you to our floor.
