The Emergency Department is offered many opportunities to excel in the education and skills that are necessary to provide top quality care. These opportunities include emergency medicine education sessions and online classes offered throughout the year. These sessions provide theory and tactile opportunities as a way to learn and maintain necessary emergency medicine skills. We are educated on evidenced based medicine so that our team can provide care that is known to be proven.

We also have committees within our department that help extract data for quality metrics. We are actively involved in our unit practice council and use this council to roll out new information to the department as well as team building.
