MyMichigan Medical Center Alpena is proud to announce Dr. Bob Currier as 2025 Honorary Chair for the Development Council’s annual Aliferis Memorial Race. Dr. Currier opened his practice, Northern Eye, in Alpena in 1982. He has been an active member of the community, regularly attending and supporting local events as a sponsor, attendee and supporter. Dr. Currier has always been a leader in advocating for health, wellness and MyMichigan Medical Center Alpena.
Join Dr. Bob for this year’s Aliferis Race on Saturday, August 30 at the corner of Chisholm Street (U.S.-23) and Johnson Street, on the campus of MyMichigan Medical Center Alpena. This year’s race includes an 18.5-mile bike race, a 6.5-mile bike tour, a 5K run/walk, and the family-friendly 1-mile run/walk. Event registration fees range from $25 to $30 per person, per event. Those who register will receive a T-shirt and a chance to win several prizes, which will be drawn during the awards ceremony after the race. Individuals must be present to win.”
