West Branch Surgeon Receives Board Certification

Rachel R. Laszko, M.D., general surgeon at MidMichigan Medical Center – West Branch, recently became board certified from the American Board of Surgery (ABS).

Surgeons certified by the ABS have completed at least five years of residency training following medical school, met all ABS training requirements, and successfully completed a rigorous ABS examination process. To be certified by the ABS means the surgeon has met the highest standards of education, training and knowledge in the field of surgery. This certification is a voluntary process that demonstrates a surgeon's commitment to professionalism, lifelong learning, and quality patient care.
