Gladwin Volunteers Announce Health Care Scholarship Award Winners

The MyMichigan Medical Center Gladwin Volunteers are pleased to announce the winners of their 2022 Health Care Scholarship awards. Each recipient received a $1,500 scholarship for college.

Felicity Edick, daughter of Anne and Rusty Edick, will be attending Saginaw Valley State University in the fall and working towards a degree in occupational therapy. She has been active in choir, soccer, and competitive dance while attending Gladwin High School. In addition, Felicity has been a volunteer in an elementary classroom, has helped at food banks and flood relief programs. Her teachers credit her with being hard working, selfless, dedicated and passionate.

Caitlin Woods-Taylor plans on attending Northern Michigan University and studying pediatric medicine in the fall. She is the daughter of Elizabeth Woods, and has been an active volunteer at blood drives, food distribution programs, and at the Gladwin Nursing and Rehabilitation Home - exceptional, responsible, organized, and dedicated are words used by her teachers to describe Caitlin. Besides managing the Botany program, she was also active in the Kiwanis Key Club and the Advanced Art program.

Aaron Kozlow, son of Rebecca and Jeremy Kozlow, plans on attending Northern Michigan University in the Fall. His work-study placement supervisors’ credit him with being punctual, reliable and disciplined. While attending Gladwin High School, Aaron has been involved in several sports, the Lighthouse Youth Group, and was a co-op student at Evergreen Physical Therapy. He plans on majoring in pre-physical therapy and human performance in college.
