“We are coming off a trying, two-year pandemic, so much of my focus is on recovery and further building the resiliency of our amazing nursing staff,” said Wood. “We have many nurses new to our organization and a strong existing team that will meld together to continue delivering the excellent patient care we are known for.”
Wood received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2007 from Grand Valley State University and a Master of Business Administration in 2016 from Northwood University. He and wife Heather, a certified registered nurse anesthetist at MyMichigan, have three children: Mikey, 9, and twins Parker and Madison, 6. Wood loves to help kids through coaching the many sports his own children are involved in. He also enjoys playing hockey and golf.
