Angel Pinning Continues 49-Year Tradition
Barb Nye, volunteer, pins the 2024 Angel Pin on Hunter Nostrant, president of MyMichigan Medical Center Alpena.
Barb Nye, dedicated volunteer at MyMichigan Medical Center Alpena, recently pinned the 2024 Angel Pin on the lapel of Hunter Nostrant, Medical Center president. Nye has been actively involved with volunteer services at the Medical Center in Alpena since 2019. She currently is a clerk at The Gift Corner and volunteers at the Cancer Center. Over the years, she has also participated in many fundraisers and provided support in several areas throughout the hospital.
The angel pinning is a 49-year tradition that kicks off the sale of the pins in the Medical Center Gift Shop and out in the community. Customers return year after year to obtain the new pin design. All proceeds from angel pin sales are used to support volunteer pledges toward advancements in technology and services at the Medical Center.
