MyMichigan Medical Center Saginaw Treats First Patient with Cutting-Edge Therapy for Advanced Prostate Cancer

MyMichigan Medical Center Saginaw has treated its first patient with Pluvicto®, a cutting-edge therapy for advanced prostate cancer. As the only Medical Center in the region offering this revolutionary treatment, MyMichigan is leading the way in providing state-of-the-art care close to home.

Pluvicto, a highly advanced radiopharmaceutical treatment, is designed for patients with metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC). It targets prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA)-positive cancer cells, delivering radiation directly to the tumor while minimizing damage to surrounding tissues. This breakthrough treatment gives new hope to patients with advanced prostate cancer, offering a targeted and more effective option compared to traditional therapies.
