Giving Continues: Volunteers Host 3rd Annual Pot O’ Gold Ticket Raffle

While the fun and festivities of Irish Fest 2026 have concluded, the spirit of giving is still going strong in Clare. The volunteers of MyMichigan Medical Center Clare are keeping the momentum alive by kicking off the 3rd Annual Pot O’ Gold Ticket Raffle, a fundraiser that supports local patients. Hosted by Medical Center volunteers and sponsored by the MyMichigan Health Foundation, the event blends a little luck with a lot of heart. Four lucky winners will each receive a $500 cash prize, while proceeds directly benefit patients facing barriers to care.

Volunteers are the backbone of the Clare community. Caylyn Pietryga, volunteer services manager for the Medical Center in Clare, sees firsthand the impact their work has on patients and families.

“Their selflessness and dedication to service are genuinely inspiring,” said Pietryga. “Even though Irish Fest has wrapped up, our volunteers are just getting started. This raffle is a fun and meaningful way for the community to stay engaged and continue supporting neighbors who rely on our hospital every day.”

Funds raised from the event will support critical patient care needs, including medical equipment, transportation, and other essential services. Proceeds from the gift shop, popcorn sales and several other special sales are donated annually to the MyMichigan Health Foundation and are used exclusively to support MyMichigan Medical Center Clare.

Tickets are available for purchase now through Thursday, June 11. Each ticket costs $10 and can be picked up from the volunteers at MyMichigan Medical Center Clare or the Shamrock Patch Gift Shop inside the Medical Center in Clare.

The drawing will take place on Thursday, June 11, at noon in the lobby of the Hospital Entrance of MyMichigan Medical Center Clare. Winners will be contacted through the information noted on the ticket.

“The 3rd Annual 'Pot O’ Gold Ticket Raffle’ is a key fundraising event impacting patient care at MyMichigan Medical Center Clare,” said Becky Church, director, MyMichigan Health Foundation. “Every ticket sold helps us provide excellent care and a healthier future for our community We thank our volunteers for their continuous support in our Purpose of ‘Creating Healthy Communities - Together.’”
