Central Savings Bank’s Burger Bash Raises $10,000 to Keep Road to Recovery Vans Rolling

Central Savings Bank's 15th Annual Burger Bash raised $9,360 to support the Road to Recovery program for local cancer patients.

The aroma of freshly grilled burgers and the spirit of generosity filled downtown Sault Ste. Marie on the evening of June 24, as community members gathered for a cause that continues to make a meaningful difference. Central Savings Bank’s 15th Annual Burger Bash $9,360 to support the Road to Recovery program, helping provide transportation for local cancer patients traveling to lifesaving treatments.

The Road to Recovery Program, powered by dedicated volunteers, provides transportation for local oncology patients traveling from Sault Ste. Marie to Petoskey for critical cancer treatments. For patients facing the physical, emotional and financial challenges of cancer, the ride offers far more than transportation—it provides comfort, compassion and reassurance during a difficult journey.

Now in its 15th year, the Burger Bash has raised more than $106,000 to date, making it the single largest annual fundraiser supporting the program.
