MyMichigan Health Welcomes New Gynecologist to Midland
Holly Ouillette, M.D.
MyMichigan Health welcomes Holly Ouillette, M.D., to MyMichigan Gynecology in Midland, expanding access to comprehensive gynecologic care for women throughout the region.
Dr. Ouillette has more than 10 years of experience in obstetrics and gynecology. Her focus is providing personalized care for women from adolescence through the menopause including treatment for abnormal uterine bleeding, pelvic pain, heavy or painful periods, abnormal PAP smears, menopause and perimenopause-related concerns, contraception counseling and management, infertility evaluation and treatment and other gynecologic conditions.
“When it comes to patient care, it’s important that individuals feel comfortable discussing sensitive topics without fear or judgment,” said Dr. Ouillette. “By creating a personalized experience and building relationships, patients feel at ease and supported. That includes not only addressing their physical health but also recognizing how a gynecologic condition may affect their emotional well-being.”
A board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist, Dr. Ouillette specializes in minimally invasive surgery, including da Vinci robotic surgery. Her surgical expertise includes hysterectomies, endometrial ablation, colposcopy, IUD placement and treatment of ovarian cysts.
“My goal is to create a safe environment where patients feel comfortable asking questions and discussing their concerns,” said Dr. Ouillette. “Taking time to listen and educate patients is an essential component of care so they understand their condition, as well as the risks and benefits of available treatments. This approach helps patients make informed decisions about their healthcare.
Dr. Ouillette earned her medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit and completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston. She completed a minimally invasive surgery fellowship through the Women’s Pelvic Restorative Center at The Women’s Hospital of Texas.
