MyMichigan Health is offering the ROSE Program (Reach Out, Stay Strong, Essentials), a free virtual program designed to help expectant parents strengthen their emotional well-being during pregnancy and reduce the risk of postpartum depression.

Postpartum depression is common and treatable, making mental health care an important part of a healthy pregnancy. The evidence-based ROSE Program provides practical skills and support to help participants manage stress, strengthen relationships and build confidence as they prepare for parenthood.

The next four-session series begins Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2026, at noon. Each live virtual session is one hour long and will be led by Jessica Graczyk, L.M.S.W., and Tara Stockmeyer, L.M.S.W.-C., P.M.H.-C. Participants will learn proven strategies to navigate challenges that can arise during pregnancy and the transition to early parenting.

Following the birth of their baby, participants are invited to attend a bonus virtual check-in session to discuss their experiences and revisit skills that support emotional well-being during the postpartum period.

“Mental and emotional health are critical during pregnancy and after birth,” said Stockmeyer. “By offering the ROSE Program virtually, we’re removing barriers and making it easier for moms to access support when they need it most.”

MyMichigan Health recognizes that mental health is a vital component of perinatal care and maternal safety. By supporting expectant and new parents, the health system aims to help families establish a strong foundation for long-term health and well-being.

The ROSE Program is open to pregnant individuals throughout the community at no cost. Participants can join from any location with internet access, and no special equipment is required.

Additional program sessions will begin on the first Tuesday of each month through the end of 2026.
