Wound Treatment Centers Receive Excellence Awards

The Wound Treatment Center at MyMichigan Medical Center Towne Centre in Saginaw has received RestorixHealth’s highest honor – the Wound Center of Excellence Award – for both award periods in 2025, earning the special designation of 2025 Distinguished Wound Center of Excellence.

The Wound Center of Excellence Award recognizes centers that demonstrate exceptional success in meeting or exceeding clinical, operational and patient satisfaction benchmarks. Because the Towne Centre location achieved this recognition during two consecutive award periods within a single calendar year, it also received the 2025 Distinguished Wound Center of Excellence designation. 

The Wound Treatment Center at MyMichigan Medical Center Towne Centre is staffed by clinicians with advanced training in wound care and hyperbaric medicine, which is available at this location. An integrated team of wound care professionals works collaboratively to optimize patient care and outcomes, helping prevent lower limb loss while offering the most advanced healing options. Their comprehensive approach coordinates traditional and advanced therapies to support and accelerate the healing process.

In addition, Wound Care Centers in Tawas and Standish also received recognition.

Wound Care at MyMichigan Medical Center Tawas earned two honors: the Clinical Distinction Award for meeting or exceeding clinical benchmarks and the Excellence in Patient Satisfaction Award, recognizing team’s superior performance in overall patient satisfaction.

Wound Care at MyMichigan Medical Center Standish was presented with RestorixHealth’s Excellence in Patient Satisfaction Award, reaffirming the dedication of its staff and their commitment to positive patient outcomes.
