Sault Renovation Project

Improving care, comfort and access for the Eastern Upper Peninsula

MyMichigan Medical Center Sault is beginning a nearly $19 million renovation of its downtown campus. Pending regulatory approval, this project will modernize facilities, improve the patient experience and help ensure high-quality care for years to come.

Work will be carefully planned so patient care can continue during construction. Funding for the project includes $3.6 million in state grants.

Behavioral Health Unit Relocation

The Behavioral Health Unit will move from Kincheloe, approximately 22 miles south, to the main campus in Sault Ste. Marie. This change will bring services together in one location, making care easier to access and better connected to other hospital services.
