Please use the Orchard Building entrance. Take the elevator to the 3rd floor and check in at the front desk in the MyMichigan Neurosurgery department.

Description

Prepare for Your Upcoming Spine Surgery

To ensure you are properly prepared for your spine surgery, you and your coach (home support person) are invited to attend an educational class. Class information is presented by registered nurses, physical therapists and occupational therapists.

Your Health Is Important To Us

All MyMichigan Health pre-operative spine surgery patients are required to complete a free education course, either online or in-person, prior to surgery.

You will learn what to expect before, during and after surgery to promote a smoother recovery and better outcomes.

Topics include:

Surgery preparation
Home safety & equipment
Post-surgery precautions & limitations
Post-op pain management
Post-surgery expectations

Refund Policy

If you are unable to attend an event for which you registered, we are happy to reschedule you for another available date, transfer your registration to another eligible person, or process a full refund. To receive a transfer or refund, you must call (800) 395-1355 prior to the cancellation deadline for your event.
