Providing Encouragement, Education and Support

Living with a heart or blood vessel condition can bring many changes and questions. Whether you have recently been diagnosed, had a heart attack, had a heart procedure, or are managing an ongoing condition, support and helpful information can make a difference.
MyMichigan Health offers Healing Hearts, a support group for people living with heart and blood vessel conditions.
The group welcomes people who have experienced:
- Heart attack
- Coronary artery disease (narrowed heart arteries)
- Heart failure
- Heart rhythm problems
- Heart valve disease
- Peripheral artery disease (reduced blood flow to the arms or legs)

- Angioplasty or stent placement to open blocked arteries
- Implanted heart devices
- Other heart or blood vessel conditions or procedures

Healing Hearts provides a welcoming place to meet others who understand what you are going through. You can share experiences, learn from others, and receive encouragement and support. Family members and caregivers are welcome, too.
Health care professionals attend meetings to answer questions and share helpful information about:
- Heart health and healthy eating
- Medications
- Cardiac rehabilitation and physical activity

You don't have to face your heart health journey alone. Join Healing Hearts to learn, connect with others, and support one another.
