Learning Objectives

  • Discuss proper management of diabetic foot infections.
  • Discuss the history and safety of hyperbaric oxygen and it's use in the United States.
  • Identify patients with chronic wound types at increased risk for recurrence and how a secondary prevention program can impact recidivism rates.
  • Outline proper nutrition for optimal wound healing.
