Grief and Loss Adult Support Group - Clare

During the COVID-19 pandemic, this group is meeting at a location large enough to space out and meet in person. Please call for details.

This support group is for adults and educates about the individuality of grief, common responses to loss, caring for self while grieving and Worden's Four Tasks of Mourning. There are opportunities to share losses and memories while discussing steps towards healing. The program is facilitated by a Bereavement Coordinator or Medical Social Worker.

This group has a more social atmosphere. Newly bereaved adults are welcome, but should be aware of the nature of this group. The group is ongoing, and individuals of all genders are encouraged to come as often and as long as they need.

This group is designed to meet safely during COVID-19. In-person participants must adhere to social distancing and masking requirements in place at the facility.
