Specialized Treatment Programs
We offer a wide range programs for people experiencing mental health concerns. Our goal is to provide the right care in a safe and supportive environment.
Our programs are designed to give the structure, support and therapy needed to help you heal, recover, and improve your well-being.
Inpatient Care Programs
- Inpatient Care - programs at MyMichigan Medical Centers in Alma, Alpena, Midland and Sault Ste. Marie provide short-term acute psychiatric help to people who need 24-hour care and monitoring.
Outpatient Care Programs
- Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) - available in Midland, Michigan, this program designed for adolescents in middle and high school.
- Partial Hospitalization (Hospital-Based Outpatient Care) - Medical Centers in Alma and Midland offer Partial Hospitalization Programs, which provide intensive treatment for an individual with a mental health concern who needs a level of care greater than weekly sessions but does not require the 24-hour supervised care of an inpatient program.
- Office Based Care - includes regular visits with a psychiatrist, physician assistant or nurse practitioner to provide assessment and management of medications. Psychologists, social workers, and professional counselors provide evaluations and ongoing collaborative talk therapy to help patients to reach their therapeutic goals. The duration of treatment is individualized, based on the needs of each patient. Outpatient care is offered in Alpena, Midland and Sault Ste. Marie (Kincheloe).
- Senior Outpatient Therapy - We partner with Senior Life Solutions® to offer an intensive outpatient group therapy program designed to meet the unique needs adults ages 65 and older who are struggling with symptoms of depression and anxiety often related to aging. This program is available in Gladwin and Standish, Michigan.
- Integrated Behavioral Health - seeks to create greater access to mental health services within the primary care office. This team approach includes a Behavioral Health Therapist and often times a Clinical Social Worker or Psychologist located in working hand-and-hand and partnering with your medical care team.
