Rehabilitation patients may need to relearn skills that make it possible to participate in community activities and daily life. MyMichigan’s Easy Street Environments help patients gain independence in a realistic, yet safe, way.

Easy Street simulates the everyday challenges of living in a community. Under the supervision of a therapist, individuals can challenge themselves in a restaurant, market, theater, bank, hotel, greenhouse, automobile and putting green. Easy Street is a great way for patients to apply skills learned in the clinic to real-life situations.

Issues addressed in the Easy Street Environments include:
