Biography
Matt Flegel is a board-certified physician assistant specializing in family medicine. He sees patients of all ages at MyMichigan Family Medicine in Shepherd.
Philosophy of Care
Matt was attracted to family practice as it enabled him to provide care to all patients throughout their lifespans
“I am very honest with my patients,” Matt said. “I provide them the information they need to make the best decisions they can and always strive to make myself available to my patients when they may require my services.”
“I want to create a positive therapeutic relationship with my patients. The most satisfying aspect of my work is improving their overall health.”
In his free time, Matt coaches Shepherd youth sports, while also playing recreational basketball, slow pitch softball, and various other sports. He also enjoys outdoor activities like hunting and gardening. He and his wife, Amy, have two young children, Brayden and Easton.
