Biography
Christopher Garces, M.D., is a board certified general surgeon specializing in breast surgery. He sees patients in Saginaw, Bay City and Tawas. Dr. Garces wanted to become a surgeon specializing in cancer treatment after watching his father pass away from an abdominal sarcoma, a rare cancer that effects the abdomen, when he was just 17. “I knew I wanted to make a difference for other cancer patients,” he added.
Philosophy of Care
Individualized, compassionate and comprehensive care are essential when Dr. Garces is working with his patients to customize a plan that will meet their needs. “It is important to me that my patients are involved in their care planning. I take time to educate them on their disease process and make sure they are aware of their treatment options,” said Dr. Garces.
