Biography
Gamal Marey, M.D., F.A.C.S., F.A.C.C., is a cardiac surgeon with MyMichigan’s comprehensive heart and vascular team. He currently performs surgery at MyMichigan Medical Center Saginaw.
Originally from Egypt, where he began his medical training, Dr. Marey relocated to New York and Massachusetts for his general surgery residency and cardiothoracic surgery fellowship. He further refined his expertise with advanced training in aortic surgery at the Cleveland Clinic and congenital cardiac surgery at the University of Minnesota Children’s Hospital. Practicing cardiac surgery since 2015, he offers a full spectrum of expert care, including coronary artery bypass surgery, valve repair and replacement, septal myectomy, and complex aortic root and aneurysm procedures.
