Biography
Tana McKulsky, M.S.N., F.N.P.- B.C., is a board-certified family nurse practitioner specializing in pediatrics. She sees patients at MyMichigan Pediatrics in Tawas City.
Philosophy of Care
“My registered nursing background was in obstetrics, and I loved working with the newborns and families,” said Tana. “It was a natural transition to follow those patients and their families into the outpatient setting. I enjoy working with children and their parents, assisting them with their developmental and medical concerns.”
“Patient and parent involvement is very important to me when I provide medical guidance based on the child’s history and physical findings. I think that over time, we develop close relationships with the child, and we place the child’s well-being at the center of our care. It is rewarding to watch them develop over time into active and responsible members of their community, whether it be in school, sports or beyond.”
