Biography
Remnant Mwanahiba, M.D., M.P.H., specializes in family medicine. He sees patients at MidMichigan Health Park - Bay.
Philosophy of Care
“I view healthcare as a collaborative effort between the provider and the patient,” said Dr. Mwanahiba. “Such an approach, with a focus on evidence-based medicine, yields better outcomes.”

Dr. Mwanahiba and his wife, Irene, have two young daughters, Lucinda and Nellie. During his free time, he enjoys soccer and travel.
Having completed his residency training at MidMichigan Medical Center – Midland, he is happy to be remaining in the area to practice medicine. As an associate professor at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, he is also involved training future physicians.
