Biography
Kevin Sorah, D.O., is an obstetrician and gynecologist dedicated to providing comprehensive women’s health care to patients across Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. He values the variety within his practice – from managing prenatal care and delivering babies to performing surgery and seeing patients in the clinic.
Philosophy of Care
“I believe in listening carefully to my patients and using shared decision-making to develop individualized care plans,” said Dr. Sorah. “My goal is to reduce fear and anxiety about visiting an OB/GYN and to build trust as I help guide each patient’s care journey.”
One of the most rewarding aspects of Dr. Sorah’s medical practice is caring for patients throughout pregnancy and having the privilege of delivering their babies. He also finds great satisfaction in helping women regain their quality of life after experiencing heavy or painful periods.
Dr. Sorah is also encouraged by advancements in women’s health – specifically Pap smears and the HPV (Human Papillomavirus) vaccine – which have had a tremendous impact on the early detection and prevention of cervical cancer in women.
