Profile

Biography

Kimberly Truckner, F.N.P.-C., is a board-certified nurse practitioner who is experienced in treating acute and chronic wounds as well as non-healing wounds. She has knowledge and experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care based on evidence-based medicine.

Philosophy of Care

Kimberly chose this field of medicine because she wanted to be more involved in planning patient care.

“I have been a wound care provider for many years, focusing on treating acute and chronic wounds using clinical best practices and evidence-based healing techniques,” said Truckner.

She is a compassionate caregiver who believes that when it comes to patients, the most important thing is listening.

“When it comes to patient care, the most important elements of care are listening to my patient and actively including them in their treatment plan and basing that treatment on evidence-based care. The more they feel they are being heard, the more engaged they will be in their treatment and the healing process,” she continued.

Special Interests

Outside of being a nurse practitioner, she is an avid exerciser and enjoys kayaking, biking, cooking, reading and exploring beaches.
