Philosophy of Care
Bryce’s philosophy of care is focused on the patient and making sure they understand their condition, diagnosis, and treatment plan. She spends time getting to know each person, to learn about their background and experiences, which allows her to help them understand what is going on and how they are going to treat it. “I practice with a patient-centered philosophy of care in mind, trying to put myself in the patient’s shoes,” said Bryce. “With a background in internal and family medicine, I know the importance of cultivating a trusting and caring relationship with my patients so that they know their concerns are being heard and their questions are being answered.”
There are topics in the field of urology that can be difficult to discuss with a healthcare provider for various reasons. “The type of relationship I hope to attain with my patients is one where they know that their appointment is a safe environment where they feel comfortable sharing their concerns so we can create a treatment plan together,” shared Bryce.
“When patients entrust me with their care, they will feel the difference of having someone on their healthcare team that shares their level of concern about their health. My attention to detail helps to ensure the proper diagnosis is being made and the correct treatments are in place to get patients back to their normal, healthy lives.”
