Biography
Andrew Wagner, M.D., specializes in women’s health care and is a member of the active medical staff at MyMichigan Medical Center Midland. With 25 years of experience in obstetrics and gynecology, he provides high quality care to women of all ages. He is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and has a special interest in minimally invasive surgery, minimally invasive office procedures, infertility, female incontinence and women’s health research.
Dr. Wagner has also been involved in clinical research and teaching future providers as an Assistant Clinical Professor at Michigan State University and Central Michigan University.
Philosophy of Care
“As an obstetrician and gynecologist in the mid-Michigan region for 25 years, I had the great honor to know and to be a part of patients’ health and wellness journey, said Dr. Wagner. “I have cared for generations of families and am privileged to be a small part of special times in their lives.”
When it comes to caring for patients, his priority is to listen and understand their health concerns. Dr. Wagner thoroughly reviews their diagnosis and treatment options to ensure they fully understand their condition. With their input, they determine the best treatment plan for their short and long-term health and wellbeing.
“Throughout my years of practice. I’ve been privileged to be involved in clinical research for the development of new drugs, diagnostics and devices to improve the health of women,” added Dr. Wagner. “This is very satisfying work because not only am I giving high quality care to current patients but I’m helping advance care and medical treatment options that will benefit future patients.”
