Biography
Jennifer Woods, D.N.P., M.S.N., F.N.P.-B.C., specializes in pediatrics. She sees patients at MyMichigan Medical Center Mt. Pleasant.
“I pursued a path to be a Nurse Practitioner after working as a Registered Nurse for a long time,” said Jennifer. “I wanted to expand the care that I was able to offer to people. After working as a Nurse Practitioner, I found that the population that I enjoyed working with was the pediatric population.”
“I find it important to partner with my patients for health. I enjoy looking for common ground where we can come together to work toward a shared health goal.”
“I have a special interest in lifestyle medicine that takes a wholistic look at care. My recent areas of study include integrative healthcare (combining conventional and complementary therapies to care for you) and functional medicine (an approach that seeks to identify and address underlying root causes of illness, rather than simply treating the symptoms.)”
