Cinthia and Mauro Gregorio Endowed Scholarship Fund
Cinthia and Mauro Gregorio created this scholarship as a tribute to their parents Dirce & Carlos Silva and Lourdes & Constantino Gregorio, who started from very humble beginnings and made their children’s education the priority of their married lives. They could not go to college but made great sacrifices to graduate four engineers, an attorney and a medical doctor, remarkably changing the life of future generations. In gratitude for their legacy, this endowment will award a scholarship of at least $1,800 to a Michigan student in the field of nursing.
The purpose of this fund is to support an annual nursing educational scholarship. This annual scholarship will be awarded to one selected student who attends any Michigan community college or university with the primary course of study in nursing, seeking to become a Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, Certified Nursing Assistant or Licensed Practice Nurse.
Who Should Apply?
Eligible applicants must be enrolled at a Michigan college or university in a nursing program.
Application Process
Electronic applications for the upcoming school year will be accepted beginning January 1st of each year with the deadline of April 1st. Applications and support documentation will only be accepted electronically. To apply, complete the following steps:
