Sophie Kubesh, PharmD

Sophie, originally from Traverse City, MI, earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Ferris State University in 2025. She has a strong interest in oncology and ambulatory care.

Sophie chose the residency program at MyMichigan Medical Center Midland after experiencing its supportive culture, focus on patient-centered care, and wide range of clinical rotations during a pharmacy school rotation. That experience confirmed it was the right fit for her professional growth.

Outside of work, Sophie enjoys reading, journaling, and collecting vinyl records.

Alexander Gorski, PharmD

Originally from Essexville, MI, Alexander (Alex) Gorski earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Ferris State University in 2025. During his education, he developed strong clinical interests in infectious disease, critical care, and ambulatory care.

Before starting his pharmacy residency, Dr. Gorski gained seven years of inpatient pharmacy experience, which provides a strong foundation for his continued growth. He chose MyMichigan Medical Center Midland for its broad range of clinical rotations and its welcoming, small-town atmosphere—both of which aligned perfectly with his goals.

Outside of work, Alex enjoys fishing, gardening, grilling, and—most importantly—spending quality time with family and friends.
