Program Director

Jenna Bernson, M.D., earned her doctor of medicine degree from Michigan State University, College of Human Medicine. She completed residency in Family Medicine at Alma Family Medicine Residency Program. Afterwards, she joined as a faculty physician at the residency program. Dr. Bernson is board-certified in Lifestyle Medicine through the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine.

Dr. Bernson has special interest in mental health, inpatient medicine, endocrinology, and lifestyle medicine.

She lives with her partner and their four trouble-making felines. She enjoys playing piano and flute, painting, decorating for holidays, and playing board games.

Faculty Physician

Brianna Cadigan, D.O., completed her undergraduate studies at Michigan State University and earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. She went on to complete her residency training in Marquette, Michigan, where she developed a strong appreciation for rural medicine. Before joining the faculty, she practiced in a northern Michigan outpatient clinic, providing care to patients of all ages.

Dr. Cadigan is passionate about family medicine, with particular interests in women’s health, OMT, and preventative care. Outside of medicine, she enjoys traveling, camping, and tap dancing. She lives with her husband and two young children, and is a devoted Disney fan and cat lover.

Faculty Physician

Khyllian Lowry, M.D. is a life long Michigander and has been lucky enough to complete all of her training in Michigan! She is a graduate of our Alma Family Medicine Residency program and is excited to continue her role and support of the residency in her new role as faculty. During her free time Dr. Lowry enjoys visiting with her family playing card games and having large family meals/get togethers. At home in the evenings, a young dog and middle aged cat keep her and her husband busy. Dr. Lowry is board-certified in Lifestyle Medicine, and her special interests include POCUS and in-office Family Medicine procedures.

Faculty Physician

Jeremy Moeggenberg, PsyD., earned his doctorate degree in clinical psychology from Illinois School of Professional Psychology in 2011. He completed his residency internship through Meier Clinic of Wheaton, IL. Dr. Moeggenberg joined the joined the faculty at Alma Family Medicine Residency Program in 2024. He has held privileges with MyMichigan Medical Center Alma since 2020 where he also consults for neuropsychology.

In addition to his role with the residency Program, he works out of his private practice clinic in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan Dr. Moeggenberg is an avid sailor, golfer, cyclist and enjoys traveling during his off hours.

Faculty Physician

Robert Reichmann, M.D., M.P.H., earned his doctor of medicine degree from St. George's University School of Medicine, Grenada, West Indies and completed his residency training at the Alma Family Medicine Residency Program. He sees patients at MyMichigan Family Medicine in Shepherd. Concurrently, he has continued to support the Alma Family Medicine Residency program as a preceptor and as an attending physician. Dr. Reichmann owns a 6- acre farm in Montcalm County where he raises livestock, as well as grows several types of fruits, vegetables and flowers on his new homestead. With a previous career as a chef in New York City, Dr. Reichmann’s goal is to someday be mostly self-sustaining as he values the knowledge of knowing where his food comes from.
