The Anticoagulation Clinic at MyMichigan Medical Center Alpena, 1501 W. Chisholm Street helps patients safely manage anticoagulation (blood-thinning) medications that require regular monitoring, including COUMADIN® (warfarin sodium).
Our clinic is supervised by pharmacists who are specially trained and certified in anticoagulation therapy management. We work with you and your provider to monitor your medication, help reduce the risk of complications, and support safe treatment.
The clinic also provides LOVENOX® bridging therapy for patients who need temporary anticoagulation support before scheduled surgery or procedures.
A referral from your health care provider is required to receive services at the Anticoagulation Clinic.
