MyMichigan Medical Center Alma
If you are in a mental health crisis, MyMichigan Medical Center Alma provides 24-hour support. We offer help through our Inpatient Psychiatric program. We offer short-term care in a safe and comfortable setting. We treat you with kindness, respect, and understanding.
A team of professionals will support you and your family to help you begin your recovery.
What to Expect When You Arrive
When you first come in, you’ll get a full health screening. If we find other medical issues that may affect your recovery, we’ll help connect you to the right care.

- A 30-bed secure unit for adults and seniors
- Private rooms with beautiful views of the countryside
- A therapy kitchen where you can cook foods you enjoy
- A bright, comfortable activity room
- Two large Jacuzzi tubs for relaxing and calming your body
- Therapy dog visits, available by request
- Flexible therapy spaces for individual and group sessions
- An Outpatient Psychiatric Partial Hospitalization Program for continued care
- A central location in Alma, Michigan for easy access
Your Care Team
