The James T. and Elsa U. Pardee Cancer Wellness Center brings comprehensive cancer care into one location, creating an exceptional patient experience with all the necessary care our patients need under one roof. The 115,000 center, adjacent to MyMichigan Medical Center Midland, is located at the site of the former Towsley Building. The new Center gives us the space for multiple specialists to see the patient on the same day, collaborate and provide the care plan without multiple appointments at multiple locations.
MyMichigan’s comprehensive cancer care program includes access to a team of 53 providers specializing in cancer care, certified oncology nurses, radiation therapists, the latest in diagnostic and treatment technology, clinical trials and a full range of support services. In addition, MyMichigan’s cancer program includes assistance for patients and their families through social workers, care navigators, genetic counselors, nutritionists, physical therapists, mental health professionals, financial counseling, and connections to support groups or other individuals facing similar circumstances.
Upon entering the Pardee Cancer Wellness Center, patients and visitors are greeted with a warm inviting environment with floor to ceiling windows overlooking a courtyard which allows natural light to fill the area. Each floor offers areas for quiet reflection with comfortable seating and fireplaces, while warm wood accents and water features add to the calm, healing environment.
Our cancer program has been accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer since 1986.
In recognition of the dedication to cancer research and treatment by the late James T. and Elsa U. Pardee, the Cancer Center at MyMichigan Medical Center Midland has been named in their honor. The James T. and Elsa U. Pardee Cancer Wellness Center was made possible with combined gifts by both the Elsa U. Pardee Foundation and Rollin M. Gerstacker Foundation.

The multidisciplinary approach at the Pardee Cancer Wellness Center ensures that patients receive personalized treatment plans; integrating surgery, radiation, chemotherapy, immunotherapy and support services.
