Located in the heart of Central Michigan, we specialize in helping you regain your strength, independence, and confidence.
We believe that a supportive and comfortable setting brings the best outcomes. That’s why we designed everything here, from our therapy gym and dining area to our tranquil courtyard, with your recovery in mind.
We'll start by creating a treatment plan just for you. Then our specially trained nurses, therapists, social workers, dieticians and physical medicine and rehabilitation physicians will work with you to reach your goals.

- We use a measurement called PEM, to track your improvement. Our average over the past year is 109.5, compared to a maximum score of 115.3 and a national average of 92. This put us in the top 7% of inpatient rehab programs nationwide and earned us a “Top Performer Award.”
- We’ve been accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) for general rehabilitation for more than 25 years and for stroke rehabilitation for 17 years. This prestigious accreditation shows we’re applying the highest standards of care and delivering exceptional outcomes.

Working Together for You
We use the same electronic medical record as the entire MyMichigan Health system. This helps your rehab team communicate with the rest of your care team before, during and after your stay. It also makes your follow-up care easier after you leave rehab.
We have close relationships with inpatient specialties like neurology, cardiology and trauma. So we can get you quickly back into the hospital if a complication arises -- without going through the Emergency Department.

One of the best parts of our unit is our beautiful outdoor courtyard. It’s a peaceful space for therapy and relaxation.
- Colorful flowers and shaded areas offer sights and sounds of nature proven to enhance your emotional well-being.
- Occupational therapists use the garden to help you practice fine motor skills through planting and weeding.
- Physical therapists help you walk on different surfaces and steps to prepare for real-world mobility.
- There is outdoor seating where you and your family can relax, share meals, and enjoy fresh air. This helps you stay connected and feel more like your normal self during recovery.
