Special Care Nursery

About

The special care nursery at MyMichigan Medical Center Midland is a place where babies can receive extra care before they are ready to go home. We care for babies who are 32 weeks gestational age or older with conditions such as:

• Transient tachypnea of the newborn (TTN)
• Neonatal abstinence syndrome (withdrawal symptoms due to prenatal drug exposure)
• Feeding and swallowing concerns
• Conditions that require oxygen
